    Electronic Unit IPT Lead 5 (Project Management)

    The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is looking for a Project Management Specialist (Level 5) position, to support the Electronics Unit Programs organization team based in El Segundo, CA.

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed locations.

    This position requires a current Tier 5 (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) (U.S. Citizenship required) or requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.

    Position Responsibilities

    • Responsible for cost, schedule, technical, and risk management for high reliability electronic unit hardware development and delivery.
    • Develop and maintain Earned Value baselines and status to plan.
    • Define required resources from space electronics engineering, operations, and supplier management to build cross functional unit level teams necessary to execute electronic units design, development, and delivery to programs.
    • Coordinate with programs and operations to optimize unit hardware production pipelines and deliveries.
    • Support weekly, monthly, and quarterly program and functional reporting cycles.
    • Perform unit sell-offs, project close-out, and document lessons learned for incorporation into future project plans and unit hardware roadmaps.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

    • Bachelor Degree or higher in a related technical field
    • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role, leading teams or projects to successful completion
    • 5+ years of experience working with military or space electronics
    • 5+ years of experience working in ambiguous and fast changing environments

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

    • Experience as a CAM (cost account manager) using EVM (earned value management)
    • Experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools

    Summary pay range:

    $180,200 - $243,800
