Electronics Assembler - 1st Shift - Boonton
1st Shift:7am - 3:30pm (MON-FRI)

Please inform the contractor that they will lose their 30% increase at conversion but will gain their benefits, including PTO and Holiday pay.
This is due to the new law passed in NJ.

Electronics Assembler

Position Summary:
Responsible for the assembly of thru-hole printed circuit boards that are of low or moderate complexity for which procedures and methods are prescribed.
Intricate fitting, adjusting, and aligning of parts (involving close tolerances and interrelated factors) are required to complete products, units, or sub-assemblies. Applies above average hand soldering skills.
Use work order package and utilize on-line bar code reporting system for labor and manufacturing quantities.
Fabricates the Companys products in part or whole per established procedures and methods.

Position Responsibilities:
Assembles and/or wires moderately complex equipment following blueprints, models, and model prints.
Skilled adjusting, fitting, and aligning are required; tolerances are close.
Has ability to follow work cell procedures.
Sets up and operates one or more production type machines such as component trim machines, Amp machines, and riveting machine.
Is flexible and can perform many operations on product in and outside of home department.
Solders to best commercial specifications.
Uses hand and power tools as required.
Builds harness assemblies.
Use work order package and utilize on-line bar code reporting system for labor and manufacturing quantities
Performs related duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Works overtime as required.
Strives to meet prescribed quality standards in an ISO environment.

Skills And Experience Required:
Minimum of 1 year electronic assembly experience.
Ability to identify components and color codes.
Excellent soldering skills.
Must be able to communicate and understand directions in English.
