Responsibilities:

3rd Shift - Sunday through Friday morning

Pay Rate $25.02/hr plus Shift Differential

Pay Grade: HR005

Now hiring for an Electronics Assembler at our Murrysville, PA manufacturing plant.  In this role you will be responsible for assembly and the following tasks:

  • Assemble, modify, rework, and repair SCBA accessories such as clear command, HUDs, power modules, and control modules.

  • Utilize and refer to  drawings, assembly instructions, and specifications to perform assembly operations.

  • Identify assembly problems and make minor repairs.

  • Perform visual inspections. 

  • Complete and maintain relevant paperwork and input information in computer system. 

Qualifications:

Demonstrated ability to:

  • proficiently solder.

  • read and understand drawings, work instructions and test procedures.

  • understand standard units of measure and to set-up and interpret results of various measuring devices .

  • regularly perform work that requires magnification is required.

  • use of hand and power tools, custom tooling and perform work with strong manual dexterity on small components requiring  fine finger manipulation and hand steadiness.

  • visually and mentally concentrate for prolonged periods of time.

  • regularly perform work that requires magnification and distinguish among different color coatings on wires.

  • perform standard software operations. 

  • infrequently lift, carry, push and pull up to 30 pounds without assistance.

  • effectively communicate with various levels within the organization including training of new associates and temporary agency assignments.
  • work in a team environment and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • operate at a level that meets or exceeds quality and productivity standards for the work area.
  • wear safety glasses ANSI Z87 approved, steel toe shoes and other PPE as required.

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum of one-year previous manufacturing or related experience.
