Electronics Assembler

PGS Worldwide is seeking an Electronics Assembler in Plymouth, Minnesota for a one-year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This onsite 1st shift position supports production assembly of electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies in a manufacturing environment. The role includes soldering, assembly, continuity checks, quality inspection, and rework of production and prototype hardware.

Required Skills

• High school diploma or GED
• IPC J-STD-001 certification
• 1–3 years of experience in hand soldering or assembling electronic components
• 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and follow instructions

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• 5+ years of hand soldering experience, including inspection and rework or repair
• Ability to understand and interpret technical documents
• MES software experience
• Microsoft 365 experience

What You’ll Do

• Perform repetitive and non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies
• Assemble modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables
• Work from diagrams and drawings and create initial layouts
• Use hand tools, power tools, jigs, and saws to complete assembly tasks
• Make continuity checks on work in process and completed assemblies
• Conduct quality inspections in accordance with quality specifications
• Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies as needed

• 1st Shift
• 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Pay

• $26.67/hour
