We re seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join a fast-paced, forward-thinking manufacturing environment that supports critical simulator applications.
What You ll Be Doing:
- Assemble and rework electro-mechanical systems and components, including cables, wire harnesses, and circuit card assemblies.
- Follow complex drawings, schematics, and detailed work instructions to produce high-reliability parts to IPC standards.
- Perform precision soldering (IPC J) and wire/cable assembly (IPC 620).
- Use hand tools such as crimpers, soldering irons, and ESD equipment with a focus on quality and safety.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures.
- Support lean manufacturing, continuous improvement initiatives, and first-article assembly builds.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to drive process improvements.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior assemblers when needed.
What You ll Bring:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly, soldering, crimping, and cable building.
- Proven experience working in a manufacturing environment with IPC J and IPC 620 standards.
- Strong ability to read technical documentation and interpret complex assembly instructions.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools, test equipment, and basic computer systems.
- A mindset focused on reliability, safety, and continuous improvement.
