Pay Rate: $18.12/Hr.

This is an entry-level position with a group start planned for July 20th.
Overview: Electronics Assembler (Soldering)
Our client is seeking an entry-level Electronics Assembler (Soldering) role, youll help produce small parts and circuit cards by assembling components and subassemblies, wiring assemblies, and soldering to J-STD-001 standards. Youll work in a controlled manufacturing environment while learning hands-on skills that open the door to rewarding work in the defense manufacturing space.
Required Skills: Electronics Assembler (Soldering)- US Citizenship
- High School/GED
- Ability to assemble and wire basic components and subassemblies
- Competence with soldering practices in accordance with J-STD-001
- Ability to work from layout diagrams, schematics, wire prints, and verbal instructions
- Experience (or comfort) using hand tools and power tools for alignment, joining, and installation tasks
- Strong attention to detail when routing/attaching wires and connectors and forming correct circuitry
- Ability to perform intermediate assembly tasks such as cleaning, coating, epoxy bonding, encapsulating/potting, and color coding
- Comfort sitting/standing for extended periods and operating hand crimping tools
- Ability to occasionally lift/carry up to 30 lbs
- Willingness to work in a controlled environment; occasional work outside or in shelters
- Ability to work extended hours or weekends as needed
- Ability to safely work around hazardous cutting tools and chemicals
- Team-first attitude and willingness to learn (training available for electronics soldering)
Preferred Education, Experience & Skills: Electronics Assembler (Soldering)- Prior manufacturing environment experience is preferred, but this is an entry-level role with training available
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Any familiarity with J-STD-001 (not required, but a plus)
