JOB TITLE: Electronics Assembly Technician
LOCATION: Oldsmar, FL
PAY RATE: $30/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

  • Perform electronic and mechanical production assembly operations on assemblies and subassemblies including modules, boards, panels, frames, drawers, and cable systems.

  • Assemble, disassemble, rework, modify, and test production and prototype assemblies according to engineering specifications and manufacturing procedures.

  • Interpret diagrams, blueprints, and technical drawings to complete layouts and assembly tasks accurately.

  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, jigs, saws, and related equipment to support manufacturing and assembly operations.

  • Conduct continuity checks, inspections, and functional testing on work-in-process and completed assemblies to ensure quality and compliance.

  • Support prototype and experimental builds under simulated operating conditions for validation and testing activities.

Requirements:

  • Experience with electronic and/or mechanical assembly in a manufacturing or production environment.

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, schematics, and assembly instructions.

  • Experience assembling and troubleshooting modules, panels, boards, frames, cables, and related subassemblies.

  • Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, jigs, and fabrication equipment.

  • Experience performing continuity checks, testing, and quality inspections.

  • Ability to disassemble, modify, rework, and reassemble assemblies to specification.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive and non-repetitive assembly tasks.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
