We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary: 

• Analyzes customer and system requirements to develop architectural approaches and detailed specifications for electronic products.

• Develops high-level and detailed designs consistent with requirements and specifications.

• Validates designs through review, testing, and analysis.

• Identifies, tracks, and statuses technical performance measures to ensure compliance with requirements.

• Supports Supplier Management with make/buy recommendations and technical services.

• Provides engineering support throughout the product lifecycle.

• Investigates emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs.

• Applies System Verilog for design and verification.

• Uses UVM (Universal Verification Methodology) for verification.

• Applies strong digital hardware fundamentals to design and validation.

Requirements:

• Active Secret Security Clearance required to start.

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master 3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

• At least 2 years of System Verilog experience.

• At least 2 years of UVM (Universal Verification Methodology) experience.

• Strong digital hardware fundamentals.

• Ability to exercise sound engineering judgment.

• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.

• Ability to communicate clearly and proactively.

• Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation.

• Ability to take ownership of work and deliver maintainable engineering solutions.

• Ability to explain personal technical contributions, design decisions, debugging approach, and ownership of deliverables.
