Are you an Electronics Engineer who enjoys turning complex requirements into reliable, production-ready hardware?
We are seeking an Electronics Engineer to design, test, and support advanced battery electronics. This hands-on position offers involvement throughout the complete product lifecycle, from initial concept and prototype development through validation, qualification, production, and long-term technical support.
What You’ll Do
Design battery electronics for voltage, temperature, and current monitoring
Develop cell-balancing, communication-bus, and safety-disconnect systems
Translate customer and internal requirements into compliant electronic designs
Develop electronic systems from concept and prototype through validation and qualification
Perform circuit design, analysis, simulation, schematic capture, and PCB layout
Design analog measurement, signal-conditioning, and A/D conversion circuits
Design and manage high-current charge and discharge paths
Perform design verification testing, document results, and improve designs based on findings
Select, screen, test, and qualify electronic components
Design electronics capable of operating in harsh environments, including vibration, shock, thermal cycling, humidity, and corrosive conditions
Troubleshoot existing assemblies and conduct root cause analysis
Develop corrective actions for design, manufacturing, testing, and performance issues
Identify and qualify alternate components and sources
Create and maintain schematics, PCB manufacturing packages, BOMs, FMEAs, test reports, compliance matrices, parts-stress analyses, and reliability documentation
Present technical information to engineering teams, leadership, and external stakeholders
Help identify and mitigate risks involving quality, schedule, and cost
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Experience with analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog conversion
Experience with microcontrollers and serial communication protocols
Hands-on experience with schematic capture, circuit simulation, and PCB layout
Experience developing and maintaining engineering and production documentation
Strong electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage priorities and meet project schedules
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
Must qualify as a U.S. person due to the nature of the work
