Standard Job Description
The Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to join the Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) team.
Location: This position does not support teleworking; you will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in: Cape Canaveral FL and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.
What does this role look like?
You will support FBM LE refresh and design update projects for Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE). Use your strong electrical engineering skills to work with all project partners and define the future for FBM!
Key activities you will accomplish in this role:
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
including data review, error analysis, integration and troubleshooting.
Develop hardware requirements from subsystem to all locally assigned support equipment test systems.
Ability to read electrical schematics, troubleshoot, and integrate with software
To be effective in this role, you will need:
Researches, designs, develops, and tests a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including radar and radiation detection equipment; radio, television and other communications equipment and systems; circuitry components; analog and digital computers; and control and test equipment.
Basic Qualifications
Desired Skills
Previous experience as a certified principal engineer or product subject matter expert on integrated hardware equipment
Experience in one or more of the following: Windchill, Zuken, CREO, NI (National Instruments) toolsets, PXI chassis
Experience developing content and presenting at customer reviews
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00
