Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Fabricate and solder components for circuit cards and electrical sub-assemblies.
Build and assemble wiring harnesses, including connector pinning, de-pinning, and mounting hardware installation.
Assemble lower-level electrical components into single- or multi-bay cabinet systems for Engineering and Manufacturing Production.
Interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering documentation to fabricate electrical equipment.
Collaborate with engineers, fabricators, draftsmen, procurement, and quality teams to support production and troubleshooting efforts.
Communicate fabrication, design, or process issues clearly to management and engineering teams.
Utilize software tools and Microsoft Office products to support documentation and workflows.
Work independently with minimal supervision in both individual and team environments.
Support a minimum 40-hour workweek with occasional overtime as needed.
Adhere to safety requirements, including mandatory use of safety shoes.
Requirements:
Active Secret Clearance required at time of submission.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in fabrication environments, including cable/wire harnessing, SMT board fabrication, or maintenance of military-designed products.
Prior soldering and harness certification meeting MIL-STD requirements.
Experience fabricating electrical equipment from blueprints, schematics, and engineering specifications.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to report process or design concerns.
Experience with Microsoft Office and related software tools.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with security clearance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Solder certification to J-STD-001 and IPC-7711/IPC-7721.
Experience procuring and acquiring test materials.
Experience interpreting and building test equipment from engineering documentation.
