General Summary ----------------
Maintain general housekeeping of laboratories and perform related work as required.
Specific Position Duties -------------------------
• Maintain overall order and appearance of laboratories • Trainers test equipment and materials • Maintain laboratory station setup for trainers test equipment tools and materials • Test equipment may include but are not limited to: • DMMs • Oscilloscopes • Function generators • Soldering irons • Networking test tools • etc. • Tools may include but are not limited to: • Soldering irons • Wire cutters • Screwdrivers • Logic probes • IC insert and extraction tools • Network wiring tools • etc. • Materials may include but are not limited to: • Resistors • Capacitors • Potentiometers • Microcontrollers • Semiconductor devices • ICs • Wire rolls • Network cables • etc. • Follows and maintains laboratory procedures • Installs new equipment and modifies current installations using various manual tools • Maintains inventory of replacement parts for electronic and computer equipment • Performs quality checks on newly delivered equipment to ensure proper operation
Minimum Qualifications ----------------------
Enrolled in the Automation certificate AAS or BAAS program
