Introduction

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronics Lab Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the development and testing of electronic components and systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Technical degree in electronics preferred or relevant engineering technician experience.
  • Experience using hand and power tools.
  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment.
  • High voltage safety awareness. Safety is our number one priority.
  • Prior work experience at client or in the client's industry.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficient with Client, Google Office, Jira ticketing process, and Confluence pages.
  • Hands-on approach: Proactively identifies and fills in gaps where needed.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and passion for completing tasks efficiently.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Perform circuit board electronic modifications such as component rework, soldering/de-soldering of electronic components.
  • Fabricate special test equipment such as test boxes and test harnesses.
  • Conduct functional acceptance testing of circuit board assemblies and power electronic units following defined test procedures.
  • Set up and utilize standard test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power analyzers, power supplies, and digital multimeters independently.
  • Build server racks, manage cables, and install server-related hardware (KVM, PDU, and Network switches).
  • Test, troubleshoot, root cause, and document electronic functional failures.
  • Read electrical schematics and use manufacturers' product data sheets.
  • Support development and validation testing of high voltage automotive power electronic components.
