Working in the engineering team supporting new product development.
Troubleshoot and repair of electronic circuit boards.
Build prototype electronic circuits per the engineering team instructions.
Perform complicated solder, de-solder, miscellaneous rework of circuit boards or products.
General support the engineering team for new product introductions.
Provide support to the engineering and purchasing teams finding alternatives for obsolete parts.
Perform design validation testing on new products.
Write reports documenting testing results.
Qualifications:
Two year degree in electronics technology or equivalent.
Previous experience working as an electronics technician in a product development environment.
Good working knowledge of electronic circuits.
Working knowledge of electronics test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters, etc.
Working knowledge of MS Office products.
Good mechanical aptitude desired.
Contract duration is 6-9 months.
