We are looking for Mechanical Assembler to support the assembly of electronic, mechanical, and optical components used in precision equipment.
1–5 years of hands-on assembly/manufacturing experience who is comfortable working with tools and small components and is looking to grow into more advanced electronic, mechanical, or optical assembly work.
This is an entry-to-mid-level hands-on manufacturing role with hands-on assembly, following instructions, basic tools, quality, documentation, and willingness to learn optical/electronic work. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with small components, basic hand tools, and detailed assembly instructions, and has good attention to detail and quality.
Responsibilities:
Assemble electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical components by following work instructions and drawings.
Perform basic assembly tasks such as fastening, crimping, cable installation, soldering, and harness assembly.
Use basic hand tools and assembly equipment safely and correctly.
Install components and sub-assemblies into larger assemblies or systems.
Handle small and sensitive components carefully, including cables, fibers, and optical/mechanical parts.
Follow established procedures for basic optical or mechanical alignment as trained.
Check completed work for proper fit, connection, alignment, and overall quality.
Identify basic assembly issues and notify a technician or supervisor when additional support is needed.
Complete required production and assembly documentation.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Support different assembly tasks and production priorities as needed.
Experience:
Some hands-on experience in electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, or precision assembly.
Comfortable using basic hand tools.
Ability to read and follow basic work instructions, drawings, and procedures.
Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical assembly.
Ability to work carefully with small and sensitive components.
Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and follow established procedures.
Willingness to learn new assembly techniques and equipment.
Skillsets:
Experience with soldering, crimping, cable assembly, or wiring.
Experience in a manufacturing, production, or assembly environment.
Exposure to optical or fiber-optic components.
Experience assembling precision or electromechanical equipment.
Experience using work orders, production systems, or manufacturing documentation.
Education:
Technical degree or equivalent practical experience.
