Job Summary
Our client is seeking an energetic and responsible individual to work as a Production Assembler. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this individual will handle all assembly functions associated with the manufacturing process. They must have strong communication and organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and be committed to delivering superior-quality workmanship.
Job Description
Under the leadership (and in collaboration with) the Operations Manager, perform the following duties:
Read and assemble Client products according to assembly instructions
Operate automated test, HiPot, and HASS environmental test systems
Participate in incoming inspection processes and ongoing quality control checks
Other duties as assigned
Skills Required
Minimum 3 years’ experience in assembly and testing of electronic assemblies in an ISO 9001 manufacturing environment
Attention to detail reinforcing Client quality standards and practices
Familiarity with electronics manufacturing practices and terminology, including ESD, HiPot, burn-in, SMT, AOI, and other industry terminology
Good hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and soldering skills are a must
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Ability to meet tight deadlines
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical documentation
Ability to read and follow instructions in written and oral English
Proficient in Word, Excel, databases, and Outlook
The Ideal Candidate:
3 years’ experience in assembly and testing of electronic assemblies in an ISO 9001
manufacturing environment
Education/Training/Certifications
High School Diploma or GED
Additional Requirements
Background check results satisfactory to Client
Work Hours: Mon to Fri. 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. On-site
Pay Rate/Salary
$40K Annually. Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location
