We are seeking an experienced Electronics Project Leader to join a dynamic and innovative team. This role is ideal for a professional with expertise in electronic module development, system integration, and cross-functional project leadership—from concept to market readiness.
• Lead electronic module development and system integration projects from concept to market readiness using established project development processes and tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, refine, and document business requirements to define project scope.
• Develop detailed project plans, including milestones, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Work with Systems Engineering to translate customer insights and marketing needs into actionable technical specifications and project deliverables.
• Coordinate project deliverables and milestones with internal teams (Product Architecture, Labs, Product Line, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing) and external suppliers.
• Conduct cost analysis, pricing estimates, and feasibility studies to align with target product costs.
• Identify cost drivers and opportunities for optimization in processes, materials, or resources.
• Manage and report on schedule, cost, quality, and capital expenditure (CAPEX) KPIs at critical project checkpoints.
• Chair or participate in key project meetings, including design reviews, checkpoint gates, and cross-functional team meetings.
• Ensure the timely preparation and execution of engineering project documentation (change notices, BOMs, drawings, specifications, etc.).
• Coordinate the development of technical product documentation such as technical specifications, test plans, DFMEA, and Design for Manufacturing and Assembly.
• Develop project schedules in accordance with PPAP guidelines.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
• Evaluate project issues and recommend corrective actions as needed.
• Demonstrate creativity through continuous improvement or other significant professional contributions.
• Guide multidisciplinary teams through all project phases using Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience in new product development with a proven record of launching innovative products.
• Strong understanding of embedded systems, power electronics, and product lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of digital product development lifecycles, connectivity systems (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, IoT), OTA updates, and cybersecurity.
• Ability to read technical schematics and understand embedded systems architecture.
• Familiarity with production and assembly processes.
• Proven project management and leadership skills with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project).
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments.
• Hands-on approach to fulfilling key project responsibilities.
• Experience in the home appliance industry is a plus.
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
