Job Title: Electronics Repair Technician III (1st Shift)
Location: Orlando, FL – 7415 Emerald Dunes Dr, Orlando, FL 32822
Pay Rate: $33.35/hr (W2)
Shift: 11:00 p.m.– 7:30 a.m (Candidate must be flexible for overtime)
Contract: 90 Days (Extension Possible; Conversion Unlikely)
Job Overview:
Join a leading multinational company serving the aerospace, defense, transportation, and security industries. The Electronics Repair Technician III will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex electronic equipment while supporting shop operations and mentoring junior technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic equipment to high-quality standards
- Lead investigations for recurring issues and support return analysis
- Oversee daily shop activities and coordinate work assignments
- Drive process improvements and support lean initiatives
- Manage shop consumables and inventory
- Mentor and guide Tech I & Tech II technicians
- Maintain equipment status records and technical documentation
- Support team leadership activities and production goals
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 6+ years of electronics repair experience
- 4+ years in an FAA 145 regulated environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills for electronic and mechanical systems
- Ability to read maintenance manuals and schematics
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and documentation skills
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of FAA 145 regulations
- Lead or inspection experience in an FAA 145 environment
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 20 lbs frequently
- Fine motor skills required for handling small electronic components
