Electronics Repair Technician – 1st & 2nd Shift

We are hiring experienced Electronics Repair Technicians for our client in the Dallas - Fort Worth area.  These technicians will perform component-level troubleshooting, repair, and modification of printed circuit boards (PCBs), STB units, radio antennas, amplifier transmitters, and other large electronic equipment. This role requires strong soldering skills, technical troubleshooting ability, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship in a production repair environment.

1st Shift Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (1)
2nd Shift Schedule: Monday–Friday | 2:30PM – 11:00 PM (2)

Responsibilities
  • Use soldering and de-soldering equipment to repair, modify, and replace components on electronic circuit boards and STB units.
  • Perform testing, troubleshooting, and repair of PCBs at the component level.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical and electronic issues.
  • Read and interpret schematics and technical documentation.
  • Maintain quality standards and ensure accurate repair work.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation.
  • Assist with training and supporting other technicians as needed.
  • Work with electronic equipment, including radios and amplifiers, using proper safety procedures.
  • Utilize computer systems for processing, testing, documentation, and data entry.
Requirements
  • Strong soldering and de-soldering skills. 1–2+ years of through-hole and surface-mount soldering experience.
  • Component-level PCB troubleshooting and repair experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of electronic circuitry, components, and theory.
  • Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot to the component level.
  • Ability to pass a Technical Aptitude Test. Demonstrating the ability to look at a circuit and understand what it does.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Proficient with Multimeters and Spectrum Analyzers to diagnose equipment.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including data entry and navigation of applications such as MS Office.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to use small and large hand/power tools, including box cutters, wrenches, electric drills, impact drills, torque drivers, and heat guns.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • English communication skills required, as all training and team communication are conducted in English.
  • Safety-toe shoes are required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience.
  • Electronics Certification preferred.
  • Graduate from technical school or technical degree with specific training on printed circuit boards, soldering, etc.

Pay First shift $23.50 / hour W2
Pay Second shift $25.85 / hour W2
