    Indotronix is seeking an : Electronics RF Test Technician 2, Buffalo New York

    2nd Shift: 4:00 PM - 12:30 PM
    Work Schedule: 5x8 (M-F)

    Job Description

    The Electronic Technician 2 performs routine technical tasks supporting development engineering activities, including design, testing, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronic and electro-mechanical systems. This role works under close supervision and contributes to prototype development, system validation, and engineering test activities.

    Responsibilities

    • Support development engineering activities including design, fabrication, assembly, and modification of electronic systems
    • Perform routine testing, checkout, troubleshooting, and fault isolation down to component level
    • Build and support prototype models, experimental circuits, and test equipment
    • Conduct operational and environmental tests to ensure systems meet design specifications
    • Work from schematics, diagrams, layouts, and technical instructions
    • Collect and document test data as assigned
    • Use diagnostic and test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters (VOM/DVM), signal generators, and spectrum/network analyzers
    • Assist in development, test equipment design, and related engineering functions
    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
    • 4 years of relevant experience, OR
    • Associate's degree in Electronics (or related field) with 2+ years of experience, OR
    • 2 years of U.S. military electronic training with 2+ years of related experience
    • Experience testing and troubleshooting RF and digital equipment
    • Experience using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers
    • Strong manual dexterity with ability to handle small components
    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
    • Experience working with technical drawings, wire lists, and test procedures
    • Experience with microelectronics and microscope-based assembly or tuning
    • Hands-on experience with soldering and electronic assembly
    • Experience collaborating with engineering teams
    • Knowledge of defense electronics, preferably Electronic Warfare systems
    • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
    • Experience working in a performance-driven, metrics-based environment
