Resonant Sciences LLC has an immediate opening for a Electronics Soldering Technician to join our Dayton, Ohio team. The position provides an opportunity to join a fast-paced elite team whose primary mission is to support our Nation's War Fighters. The candidate for this position shall be a self-starter who can work independently, unsupervised, and with little guidance. The candidate will have an opportunity to be a member of a world-class team consisting of talented and dedicated engineers, technicians, and professionals who work together to interrupt and challenge the status quo to design and develop state-of-the-art technologies.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an Electronics Soldering Technician with education and experience in electronic fundamentals to work in a fast-paced electronic assembly and laboratory developing, building, and testing custom electronic systems.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Work with engineers experienced in electronic design and testing to migrate capabilities from a lab environment to deliverable custom products.
Work with electronic engineers to design, build, and test custom electronic solutions.
Proficient with electronic schematics and soldering (hot air or iron soldering of 0201 size or smaller electronics components).
Work efficiently in an environment without the need for regular, direct oversight.
Perform other duties, as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

4+ years relevant experience required.
Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent desired.
J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, and IPC/WHMA-A-620 certifications desired.
Knowledge of AS9100 and production quality standards desired.
Hands-on experience with electronic production and testing equipment desired.

CITIZENSHIP/SECURITY CLEARANCE:

U.S. Citizenship required. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance required. Active clearance preferred.
