Electronics Technician (1st & 2nd Shift Openings)
Location: Oldsmar, FL 34677
Pay: $35.00 per hour (W2)
Job Type: 12-Month Contract-to-Hire (a chance to become permanent!)
Eligibility: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
Work Schedule (4-Day Work Week! )
You only work Monday through Thursday — enjoy a 3-day weekend, every week!
- 1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM EST
- 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM EST
About the Job
Do you enjoy working with your hands, fixing electronics, and solving problems? We're looking for an Electronics Technician to join a busy, team-focused workplace. You'll test, build, and repair electronic parts that go into high-tech equipment.

What You'll Do Each Day
- Set up testing equipment and run tests on electronic circuit boards and parts
- Build and put together electronic units following clear instructions and designs
- Adjust and fine-tune (calibrate) equipment so everything works correctly
- Find and fix problems by making adjustments or replacing parts
- Use hand tools, small power tools, and measuring devices
- Read diagrams (schematics) to track down faults in circuits
- Record your work using a computer and basic software
- Work closely with engineers to help test and improve new products
What You Need (Basic Requirements)
- At least 1 year of experience testing electronic assemblies
- Comfortable finding and fixing problems down to the smallest parts (solid-state and digital circuits)
- Able to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) to log your work
- Experience with a Flying Probe or In-Circuit Tester
- Familiar with tools like: digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, signal generators, and frequency standards
Nice to Have (Bonus Skills)
- Experience with Radar Systems and RF circuits
- Experience with Vibration and Thermal (ESS) testing of circuit boards and assemblies
- (For 2nd shift) High-power test experience
