As an Electronics Technician 2, you will perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, and reconditioning of electronic hardware used by the Federal Aviation Administration. This role requires the ability to work independently on complex electronic systems, ensure compliance with prescribed safety and quality standards, and support production goals through technical expertise and process discipline. The Electronics Technician 2 is expected to serve as a technical resource within the team and support the training and development of less experienced technicians.Primary ResponsibilitiesAdvanced Diagnosis and TroubleshootingIndependently diagnose and troubleshoot complex electronic hardware issues using advanced test equipment, schematics, and technical documentation. Repair and ReconditioningPerform detailed repairs and reconditioning of FAA electronic hardware, including component-level repair where applicable, ensuring equipment meets functional and reliability requirements.Execute and validate functional, environmental, and acceptance testing to verify repaired equipment meets FAA and Leidos specifications.
