Job Description Summary This role performs diverse and complex assignments in support of GE HealthCare product development and manufacturing. Assignments may include but are not limited to:Set up and running of data acquisition equipment for testsReporting/documenting results of tests and measuresEssential Responsibilities Test production/Refurb assemblies/systems for correct operation and compliance to performance specificationsDemonstrate proficiency using a Digital Multimeter, Oscilloscope, and Power SuppliesPerform electrical calibration on production/refurb systems and subassembliesInterface with other departments to ensure orderly flow of material and informationExecute training plansPerform basic troubleshooting encompassing multiple variables and unknowns to achieve root cause analysis and problem resolutionConduct diagnostic tests, as required to draw conclusionsInterpret circuit board schematics/system interconnect diagramsUtilize basic technical communications throughout the test process for production/Refurb assemblies/systemsProvide evaluation/constructive feedback in the development of internal and external engineering, manufacturing, or service documentationProvide strong individual contributions to team goalsParticipate in LEAN process improvement activities to improve quality, process flow, and cycle or TAKT timesComply with EHS regulations and policies and address concerns/suggestions to leadershipMaintain daily production output and identify/report defects in assigned areaEngage in daily 5s activitiesRequired Qualifications Associates degree in an Electronics or Engineering field, or a technical certificate with at least 25 credit hours in electronics including classes in electronics assembly, DC/AC/analog electronics, digital fundamentals, troubleshooting, and instrumentation; or a High School diploma and 2 years Electronics experienceProficiency in logical troubleshooting at subsystem and system level, using identifiable problem‑solving techniquesAbility to draw accurate conclusions from test data, malfunctions, or deviations, and assist with corrections to the existing design or processPhysical capability to lift up to 35 lbs. and perform frequent grasping, manipulation, neck rotation, reaching, stooping, bending, squatting, kneeling, standing/sitting, and balancing on portable step stoolsDesired Characteristics Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, Engineering or Technology related fieldsExperience in medical manufacturing or other highly regulated industryAdditional Information GE HealthCare offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.GE HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
