Job Title: Electronics Technician III Location: Schaumburg, IL 60196 Duration: 06+ months contract Shift hours: 9am- 5pm M-Friday Job Description Main Responsibilities:- Analyze and troubleshoot 2-way radios and repeaters
- Create/modify cable assemblies
- Rework circuits (0201 size parts, SOICs, fine-pitch BGAs)
- Test radios/repeaters for product certification
- Track prototype radios and repeaters
- hands on experience in circuit level testing is preferred
Must-Have Qualifications:- Ability to read schematics and layouts
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Education:- Technical Associate's Degree
Experience:- 4+ years troubleshooting radio circuits
- Strong understanding of radio operations
- Proficient with test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes)
- Skilled in soldering/replacing 0201 parts, SOICs, BGAs
- Skilled in rework with small-gauge wire (32 AWG or smaller)
- Working knowledge of Cadence Allegro Design Entry HDL & PCB Layout Editor
- Familiarity with LabVIEW and Python (preferred)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
