Senior Electronics Engineering Technician Location: Fridley, MN | Fully Onsite
Duration: 4-Month Contract with potential for extension or conversion Pay: Up to $41.71/hr.
We are seeking a Senior Electronics Engineering Technician with strong hands-on bench-level troubleshooting and electronics testing experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform surface-mount (SMT/SMD) soldering, PCB rework, and component-level repair
Read and troubleshoot from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings
Test and troubleshoot electronic hardware using oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads, signal generators, DMMs, and other lab equipment
Assemble, modify, test, and repair PCBs and electronic systems
Build wire harnesses, test fixtures, probes, cables, and prototype assemblies
Execute hardware validation/testing, collect data, and document results
Support engineers with troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and product validation
Assist with thermal/environmental and EMI/EMC testing as needed
Required Qualifications:
Associate degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
Strong hands-on SMT/SMD PCB rework and soldering experience
Ability to confidently read and troubleshoot electrical schematics
Proficiency with oscilloscopes and AC/DC power supplies/sources
Hands-on PCB, circuit-level, and electronic hardware troubleshooting experience
