Job Summary:
V2X has a requirement for an Electronics Technician, Maintenance I on the Warfighter-Training Readiness Solutions (W-TRS) to support at the Digital Ranges Training Systems (DRTS) at Yakima, Washington. The Electronics Technician, Maintenance I applies basic technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks following detailed instructions, performs such tasks as replacing components, wiring circuits, repairing simple electronic equipment; and taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, and oscilloscopes. This person works under close supervision receiving technical guidance from supervisor or higher-level technician. Work is checked frequently for accuracy.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of basic electronic equipment, components, and assemblies (e.g., power supplies, circuit cards, cabling, connectors, control panels)
- Use test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, power meters, and other standard electronic test instruments
- Follow schematics, wiring diagrams, drawings, and technical manuals to isolate faults and perform corrective actions
- Assist higher-level technicians in the inspection, testing, alignment, and calibration of electronic systems and subsystems
- Replace or repair defective components (e.g., resistors, capacitors, connectors, wiring, circuit boards) using appropriate hand tools and soldering equipment
- Document all maintenance actions in logs, forms, or computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) in accordance with site and customer requirements
- Comply with all safety procedures, technical data, security requirements, and quality standards
- Maintain tools, test equipment, and work areas in a clean, organized, and serviceable condition
- Support installation, removal, modification, or upgrade of equipment under guidance from senior technicians or engineers
- May support inventory management of spare parts and bench stock as directed
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, and feel
- Must be able to read, write, speak, hear and understand English
- Frequently required to reach with hands and arms
- Work is subject to high noise levels and vibration
- Work is performed in an environment with high dust, pollen, and wind
- Requires physical presence around high voltage, machinery, and unprotected heights
- Work may require protective clothing and equipment for feet, hands, head, eyes, and ears
- Ability to lift and carry items not to exceed 50 lbs
- Physical dexterity to push/pull, climb/balance, bend/stoop, twist/turn, kneel/crouch, crawl, reach overhead, grasp, use feet for foot controls.
- Ability to stand unaided for eight (8) hours or more
- Valid State Driver's License and retain Post Driving Privileges
- Must be able to acquire a Government Common Access Card (CAC)
- Travel up to 50%

Education & Experience:
- Associate degree and 1+ years of relevant experience, or
- High School and 2+ years of relevant experience.

- Basic Electronic Technical Certificate (preferred)
