Akkodis is seeking an Electronics Technician for a Contract with a client in Mount Vernon, WA. The ideal candidate with experience supporting installation, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting low-voltage vehicle electrical systems in automotive, marine, or heavy equipment environments.

Rate Range: $28/hour to $35/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Electronics Technician Job Responsibilities include:

• Install, assemble, and troubleshoot low-voltage electrical systems and components on automotive, marine, or heavy-duty vehicle platforms.

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings to support system installation and validation activities.

• Perform wiring, soldering, crimping, connector assembly, and electrical modifications in accordance with engineering requirements and safety standards.

• Utilize diagnostic and test equipment such as multimeters, voltmeters, and ammeters to verify system functionality and identify electrical issues.

• Document test results, installation activities, and troubleshooting findings using Microsoft Office, Outlook, SharePoint, and other engineering systems.

• Support the installation and testing of vehicle network connections, emergency stop systems, and other electrical components while collaborating with engineering teams on development and validation projects.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate degree, Technical Diploma, or equivalent training in Electrical Technology, Electronics, Automotive Technology, Marine Technology, or a related field.

• 2+ years of hands-on experience working with automotive, marine, or heavy equipment low-voltage electrical systems (12V/24V/48V DC).

• Strong experience reading electrical schematics and performing wiring, soldering, crimping, connector assembly, installation, and troubleshooting activities.

• Proficiency using electrical test equipment such as multimeters, voltmeters, and ammeters, with the ability to validate system performance and document test results accurately.

Pay Details: $28.00 to $35.00 per hour
