Duration: 6-Month Contract with potential for full-time hire
The Electronics Technician will work hands-on with robotic arm equipment and other electromechanical devices, performing troubleshooting, testing, calibration, adjustment, and repair.
This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical or electrical troubleshooting experience who is dependable, mechanically inclined, and willing to learn. Extensive electronics experience or a college degree is not required, and the company is willing to train candidates with the right foundational skills and attitude.
The goal is to hire someone who can be developed in the role and potentially transition to a full-time position.
Troubleshoot, test, calibrate, adjust, and repair robotic arms and other electromechanical equipment.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and equipment performance issues using established procedures.
Perform functional testing to verify proper equipment operation and quality.
Work with mechanical systems that may include hydraulics, fluids, motors, sensors, and electrical components.
Read and follow procedures, drawings, schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
Accurately document repairs, testing, calibration, and service activities.
Maintain required quality and device history records.
Package and label repaired equipment and assemblies as needed.
Track daily work and performance information.
Follow established safety, quality, and company procedures.
Learn new equipment, processes, and troubleshooting techniques through hands-on training.
Minimum 6 months of hands-on mechanical, electrical, electronics, automotive, maintenance, or equipment repair experience.
No college degree required.
Experience troubleshooting, testing, repairing, or calibrating mechanical or electromechanical equipment preferred.
Automotive mechanic experience may be considered, particularly candidates familiar with hydraulics, fluid systems, electrical systems, sensors, or mechanical troubleshooting.
Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical components.
Ability to use hand tools and basic testing equipment.
Ability to read and follow technical instructions, diagrams, drawings, or schematics.
Basic computer and documentation skills.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
Dependable, reliable, and willing to learn.
Ability to work effectively in a hands-on technical environment.
Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
