    Description

    The Fountain Group is currently seeking an Electronics Technicianfor a prominent client of ours. This position is in Sunnyvale, CA 94089.Details of the position are as follows: 

    Job Description:
    • Pay: Up to $29.35 to start based on experience!
    • 1-year assignment with the possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
    • Monday – Friday, 1st shift, 8:00am – 4:30pm (ONSITE)
    • Position will be responsible for supporting hardware prototype builds, troubleshooting electronic assemblies down to the component level, performing failure analysis, assisting with manufacturing test engineering activities, and helping maintain and repair lab equipment and DVT chambers within the electronics lab.
    • Position will also be responsible for assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and reworking prototypes, test fixtures, cabling, and adapters while assisting with lab infrastructure upgrades, asset tracking, calibration support, and maintaining lab documentation and processes.
    • Additional responsibilities include operating thermal test chambers, supporting failure analysis efforts for manufacturing and field teams, assisting with general lab operations and supply coordination, collaborating with remote partners when needed, and following TL9000 and internal quality procedures.
    Qualifications:
    • Associate’s Degree in Electronics or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years of experience working with complex electronic assemblies in a lab or manufacturing environment is Required!
    • Strong knowledge of analog/digital electronics, component-level troubleshooting, failure analysis, and electronics repair is Preferred!
    • Experience using oscilloscopes, multi-meters, power supplies, debug tools, microscopes, and other electronic test equipment is Preferred!
    • Excellent soldering and solder rework skills including fine-pitch SMT components is a plus!
