Electronics Technician
Position Summary
Seeking an experienced Electronics Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electronic and electrical equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for minimizing equipment downtime through preventive maintenance and timely repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic equipment
- Install, maintain, and test control systems, PLCs, sensors, and drives
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
- Perform preventive maintenance and equipment upgrades
- Diagnose issues using electronic testing equipment
- Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO)
- Maintain accurate maintenance records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Technical certification or associate degree preferred
- 2+ years of industrial electronics or electrical maintenance experience
- Ability to read electrical schematics and use diagnostic equipment
- Experience with PLCs, motor controls, or automation is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Lift to 50 lbs.
- Stand, walk, bend, and climb throughout the workday
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
