You arrive at a well-established electronics manufacturer in Grand Rapids, partnered with OnStaff USA. After a quick team huddle, you move to your station, where precision matters. With a steady hand and sharp eyes, you visually examine electronic assemblies, components, and materials, separating good parts from those that don’t meet the mark. You document what you find, alert Quality Assurance when defects appear, and jump in on containment or rework efforts when needed. Before you wrap up, you tidy your area so the next shift is set up for success.

What you’ll do
- Visually inspect electronic assemblies, components, and materials for defects
- Sort and segregate acceptable and nonconforming product per established procedures
- Identify and report defects to Quality Assurance personnel
- Assist with containment and rework activities as directed
- Maintain accurate inspection and sorting records
- Keep a clean and organized work area
Pay details
- Base pay: $16.00/hr
- 2nd shift premium: $1.00/hr — total $17.00/hr
- 3rd shift premium: $1.50/hr — total $17.50/hr
What you bring
- Strong attention to detail — this is the most important thing
- Dependable and punctual — show up, do the work, do it right
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
- Manufacturing experience preferred but not required
