Job Summary and Responsibilities

As ourElectrophysiology Advanced Practitioner, you will be a vital member of our cardiac care team, specializing in advanced electrophysiology procedures. Every day you willcollaborate closely with our Electrophysiologistto conduct comprehensive pre-procedure evaluations, meticulously reviewing patient histories and interpreting critical diagnostic tests. You'll dedicate yourself topatient education, empowering individuals and their families by clearly explaining heart procedures, potential risks, and essential post-procedure care. Your role will involveseamless patient care coordination, from initial preparation through recovery and follow-up, ensuring continuity and addressing any emergent concerns. You willdocument medical recordsdiligently and provide continuous education on medication management and lifestyle modifications, significantly impacting long-term cardiac health.

To be successful in this role, you will possess a strong foundational knowledge incardiac electrophysiologyand advanced practice. Your ability toeffectively communicate complex medical informationto diverse audiences, both verbally and in writing, will be paramount. We are looking for a highly organized professional who excels ininterdisciplinary team collaboration, working seamlessly with nurses, physicians, and allied health staff. This position requires a commitment tomedical record accuracyand adherence to regulatory standards, all while providing compassionate, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

We are offering a competitive 2 year salary guarantee then RVU-based, a sign-on bonus, full benefits, CME allowance, Malpractice with tail coverage, and relocation assistance for eligible candidates. We also offer a retirement plan with employer match. Qualified candidates may also be eligible for student loan repayment.


Job Requirements

Required

PA

  • Degree as a Physician Assistant
  • Active or eligible license in the state of Arizona
  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Background in pre-med preferred
  • Minimum 3 years Cardiology PA experience, preferably in an acute setting.
  • Must hold and maintain: a.) AZ Regulatory Board of Physician Assistants License, b.) NCCPA - National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant
  • Valid DEA registration
  • Must meet credentialing criteria for medical staff

NP

  • Master's Degree in nursing. Graduate of accredited program for nurse practitioners
  • Active or eligible license in the state of Arizona
  • Compact state or Arizona RN license
  • Surgical First Assist certification
  • Minimum of 3 years Cardiology NP experience, preferably in an acute setting.
  • Must hold and maintain National Certificate as a nurse practitioner in area of specialty under AZ regulations: a.) NP-AACN, b.) NP-AANP, c.) NP-ANCC, or d). NP-PNCB
  • Valid DEA registration
  • Must meet credentialing criteria for medical staff
