Key Qualifications:
Active and unencumbered LPN license in Massachusetts
Previous experience working with pediatric populations, especially elementary school-aged children, is preferred
Familiarity with individualized healthcare plans (IHPs) and ability to adapt care accordingly
Capacity to monitor and respond to medical needs promptly in a school setting
Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, parents, and school staff
Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold professional practice standards
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct, individualized nursing care to one student, supporting their unique medical requirements throughout the school day
Administer prescribed medications, monitor vital signs, and manage health interventions as needed
Ensure accurate documentation of care delivered and communication of any changes or concerns to appropriate personnel
Assist the student with activities of daily living and facilitate participation in classroom and school activities
Serve as a resource for health and wellness in the school community, encouraging a safe and supportive environment
