Elementary 31A Instructional Aide

Work Year/Hours: 10 ½ Months - 8:15 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.

Up to 7 hours plus 30-minute lunch/day

Location: Dort Elementary

Start Date: Immediately

Salary: $16.97 - $18.44 per hour in 3 Steps

This position is based on the availability of Grant Funding and is a year-to-year position.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Successful experience working with students
• Ability to accept and work with a wide range of student behaviors
• Good physical health
• Record of excellent attendance
• Such additional or alternative qualifications as may be determined by the Board of Education

Sample Qualifications:

• Work at the direction of the teacher to assist and supervise students
• Assist with management of student behavior
• Assist in lunchroom program
• Assist in reinforcing programs set up for special problems
• Dispense medication as may be assigned
• Perform other duties as may be assigned
