    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The role of the Building Substitute teacher, under the direction of the Principals, is to be prepared to act as a subsitute teacher in the classroom on any given day. The role includes daily filling of temporary vacancies.

    This person teaches and supports students if their regular teacher or instructional aide cannot lead or support the class. Their duties include observing classroom behavior, quickly interpreting lesson plans, and creating reports to inform the students' permanent teachers of their success.
