Elementary Certified School Speech Language Pathologist - Vista, CA

Empower young learners as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant elementary setting, working across preschool through third grade. This full-time role runs from 7:45 am to 3:15 pm, Monday through Friday, supporting a caseload of approximately 50 students. Your expertise will shape communication skills and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children.

Qualifications & Experience

• Valid SLP license and certification
• Previous experience with preschool and/or elementary-aged students highly valued
• Strong assessment and intervention skills in school-based settings
• Ability to create individualized education plans (IEPs) and work collaboratively with educators and families
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Flexible, adaptable, and committed to fostering inclusive learning environments

Key Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic speech, language, and communication assessments for students ages 3 to 8
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support student progress and success
• Deliver direct therapy sessions and consultative services as indicated in IEPs
• Maintain timely, accurate records and contribute to progress reviews
• Offer expertise during IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
