Elementary Classroom Teacher

Assumption BVM Catholic School is seeking a dedicated and faith-filled Upper Elementary Teacher with a specific interest in Literacy. As a small, rural school serving approximately 80 students from 3K through Grade 6, we pride ourselves on our close-knit community and personalized instruction. This role involves teaching and collaborating with a supportive staff of 15 professionals to foster both the academic and spiritual growth of our students.

• Instructional Leadership: Develop and implement engaging, rigorous lesson plans in core subjects, with a primary focus on advancing student Literacy and reading comprehension.

• Faith Formation: Integrate Catholic values and teachings into the daily curriculum, leading students in prayer and participating in school liturgies and spiritual activities.

• Differentiated Instruction: Manage a classroom environment by tailoring instruction to meet the diverse academic, social, and emotional needs of students.

• Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, safe, and organized learning environment that reflects the mission and values of the Diocese of Green Bay.

• Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues, parents, and the parish community to support student success and school-wide initiatives.

• Assessment: Utilize formal and informal assessments to monitor student progress and use data to drive instructional decisions.

• Candidate Requirements

• Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Education.

• Licensure: Must hold (or be eligible for) a valid Wisconsin Teaching License (Elementary - Classroom Teacher).
