Position Summary

21st Century Preparatory School is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Elementary Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality instruction, foster a positive classroom environment, and support the academic and social-emotional growth of all students. Teachers at 21st Century Preparatory School are committed to high expectations, strong relationships with families, and collaboration with colleagues to ensure every student succeeds.

Essential Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction for elementary students

• Create a structured, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment

• Use assessment data to inform instruction and support student growth

• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners

• Implement effective classroom management strategies that support positive student behavior

• Communicate regularly with families about student progress

• Collaborate with colleagues through professional learning communities (PLCs)

• Participate in school-wide initiatives focused on literacy, student achievement, and continuous improvement

• Maintain accurate records including grades, attendance, and student progress reports

• Support the mission, values, and culture of 21st Century Preparatory School

Qualifications

• Wisconsin Teaching License or Charter Teacher License (or eligibility for licensure)

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

• Strong classroom management and instructional skills

• Commitment to equity, high expectations, and student success

• Ability to work collaboratively with staff and families

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching at the elementary level

• Experience using data to guide instruction

• Experience working in diverse school communities
