Responsible for providing instruction, assessment, and behavior management for elementary students in grades K-5 to promote academic, social, and personal development.
Includes developing lesson plans, evaluating student progress, communicating with parents, collaborating with staff and community resources, and maintaining a safe learning environment.
Duties also involve counseling students, differentiating instruction, supervising students during various activities, and participating in professional development.
Requires a Bachelor's degree, valid teaching certification in elementary grades, and strong knowledge of curriculum and technology integration.
Must demonstrate effective human interaction, data analysis, and decision-making skills, and be physically capable of performing classroom duties.
Position is exempt and governed by state education rules.
