Elementary English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher

The Duxbury Public Schools is seeking a highly qualified, certified English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The position is full time, but a part-time schedule is a potential option. Travel between two elementary schools is required.

Requirements:

• Current certification from Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education - English as a Second Language PreK-6
• Bachelor''s Degree or higher from accredited college or university
• Experience with WIDA assessments
• Management skills that support students social emotional learning
• Instruction and classroom management skills that support students'' access to the general education curriculum content by providing specially designed instruction
• Collaboration with general education teachers to deliver universally designed instruction to all learners
• Experience meeting the needs of diverse learners in an elementary setting
• Experience in the adaptation and modification of curriculum and assessments
• Ability to plan and implement lessons that are aligned with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks across varied subjects
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required
