Elementary ESL Instructional Coach

The ESL Instructional Coach plans, directs, and coordinates professional development for ESL and general education teachers. The Coach supports the implementation of research-based instructional practices that integrate language acquisition into content-area instruction, including English Language Arts, mathematics, science, social studies, and special education. The Coach utilizes current educational research and evidence-based practices to support effective teaching and learning, analyzes student and instructional data to inform decision-making, and works collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and colleagues to strengthen instructional practices and student outcomes. The Coach promotes educational equity, inclusive practices, and an appreciation for linguistic and cultural diversity.
