ELEMENTARY HEALTH/PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHER - TENURE TRACK ELIGIBLE

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid New Jersey Teacher of Health and Physical Education Certificate (Standard, CEAS, or CE) required

REQUIREMENTS:

• Provide leadership for health, physical fitness, safety, and character
• Demonstrate an understanding of current best practices in the teaching of health and physical education to students.
• Deliver quality differentiated instruction for students that aligns with our district curriculum.
• Implement appropriate accommodations and modifications as appropriate for students' needs.
• Maintain accurate records to monitor and assess student growth/progress.
• Proactively engage in relevant professional development.
• Plan, prepare, and collaborate on lessons that engage students in rich interaction.
• Deliver and maintain frequent parent, staff, and community communications.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, specialists, and administrators to support student success.
• Organize and implement school-wide and/or grade-specific events and initiatives that promote fitness, teamwork, and positively contribute to the school's culture.
