Special Education teachers will comply with the following Article 7 provisions: o Provides direct services to the student according to their IEP, and or, serve as a consultant and resource person to all other personnel providing services to the student. o Participates in the case conference committee meeting and evaluations as the students teacher to assist in developing measurable goals, benchmarks, and objectives, to meet the students needs. o Monitors and evaluates student outcomes, by regularly monitoring the implementation of the students goals through progress reports given on the same schedule as the other students in the building; ensure the IEP is accessible to all people who are responsible for its implementation. o Ensures any accommodations on statewide or district assessments are implemented according to the students IEP, and ensure all supplementary aids and services, modifications, and additional supports are provided as stated in the IEP. o Maintains all district and state reports by following compliance timelines, and comply with all DCSC policies, guidelines, and procedures.
