Media Technician (1.0 FTE) Oakland Elementary School Wednesdays-Fridays

1. Demonstrated proficiency in the use of current Technology programs
2. Ability and skills to promote good public relations with students, staff and community
3. Outstanding reading, writing, editing and proofreading skills
4. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
5. Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and problem-solve
6. Experience and procedures to supervise elementary students
7. Ability to maintain building website and other web-based building technology
8. Facilitate and manage resource acquisition process for an elementary school media center
9. Ability to recognize and resolve technology related problems
10. Good employment and attendance record

JOB SUMMARY: Acts as building resource for technology related matters. Maintains building webpages. Assists the principal in maintaining and operating the media center. Prepares instructional materials. Other duties as assigned.

SALARY: Appropriate placement on Secretarial/Clerical Schedule, Classification #3, 38 weeks, 7 hours
