The Clinton Community School District is seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) Elementary/Middle School Counselor to begin in the 2026-2027 school year. Services will be based upon the WI Comprehensive School Counseling Model.

The ideal candidate will have experience and/or knowledge in trauma-sensitive schools, developing and leading classroom lessons, school mental health framework, positive behavior supports, tier 2 interventions, social and emotional learning, building family relationships within the school, community outreach, and school attendance supports. In addition, they will be able to engage in collaborative and courageous conversations with both staff and families to improve outcomes for students and the team as well as for their own professional growth.

Applications are accepted only through WECAN and must include the online application, an online cover letter, a current resume, three letters of reference, and an unduplicated list of 3-5 other references, a copy of the applicant''s license and transcripts of academic work that has led to licensure.

  • An additional $5,000 cash in lieu is provided each year when not utilizing the District''s Health coverage.
