Elementary/Middle Special Education Paraprofessional

The Monticello School District is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill the position of Special Education Paraprofessional at the elementary school level.

This is an added position to our district that will include one-on-one services.

Special Education Paraprofessional responsibilities include:

• Assist students individually or in groups with lesson assignments to present or reinforce learning concepts
• Assist with promoting students' participation in the classroom activities
• Work collaboratively and cooperatively with all staff
• Adhere to high standard of confidentiality and professionalism
• Supervise students as requested
• Be able to take direction from multiple people including teacher(s) and administrators
• Be willing to learn and grow as a paraprofessional
