POSITION: Elementary MTSS Paraprofessional - Full Day

REPORTS TO: Building Principal

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate degree OR two years of study at an institution of higher education OR able to meet the job description and qualifications
• Experience in working with elementary school children
• Ability to meet diverse learning needs of students
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Passionate about working with young people

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Small group literacy and/or math instruction of K-5 students under the direction and supervision of classroom teachers and MTSS Coordinators
• Coordinate and consult with teachers and school staff
• Organize and prepare materials as needed
• Assume other building responsibilities as needed
• Occasional classroom substituting

SALARY: Hourly Rate Per Contract

• Additional $1.00/hr with 120 college credits or a Bachelor's Degree (confirmed with transcripts)

• Comprehensive retirement and health benefits packages (or $1,000 cash in lieu of health insurance)

• Annual paid time off, as follows:

• 3 Personal Days

• 10 Sick Days

• 10 Paid Holidays

• Longevity pay, once eligible

• Good Attendance Bonus

• Sick day payout available up to $10,000 upon retirement, if qualified
