Salary Range: $58,000 - $105,000

The Acton-Boxborough Regional School District is seeking a skilled and collaborative Elementary Music Teacher to join our Performing Arts department. This position is based at the Parker-Damon building and will teach K-6 General Music Classes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver a robust, culturally responsive curriculum that sparks intellectual curiosity and a lifelong joy for music.
• Potential to direct one section of chorus, once or twice per week, fostering strong student communication and artistic expression among interested 5th & 6th grade students.
• Engage with an adaptable mindset to meet the diverse needs of all learners in an inclusive environment.
• Participate as an intentional collaboratorwithin our building and with our district-wide elementary music team to create and share innovative instructional practices that support student growth and artistic expression.
• Champion community-facing engagement through performances and shared aesthetic experiences to foster community connection.

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of the Massachusetts Arts Curriculum Frameworks.
• A student-centered approach rooted in integrity, equity, and a commitment to the social-emotional wellness of our school community.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in music from an accredited college or university.
• MA DESE Teaching License in Music, All Levels.
• Prior teaching experience with elementary school-aged children.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree preferred.
