The Long-Term Substitute Music Teacher at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School will be responsible for teaching music instruction to all students in grades 3-6 while supporting the school's mission of faith formation and academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver music school curriculum and grade-level standards
Maintain a positive, respectful classroom environment
Collaborate with classroom teachers and administration
Assess student progress and provide feedback through online grading
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Substitute teaching license or teaching license preferred
Experience working with children in a classroom or music setting
Familiarity with Catholic liturgy and music is highly desirable
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Preferred Qualities:
Enthusiasm for working in a faith-based environment
Ability to lead student singing for Mass and school events is a plus
Flexibility and adaptability in a temporary role
Commitment to modeling Catholic values in word and action
